The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data that can be used to identify you personally. For detailed information, please refer to the full privacy policy below.
Who is responsible for data collection?
Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. Contact details can be found in the "Controller" section below.
How do we collect your data?
Your data is collected when you provide it to us — for example, by filling in a contact form or booking a call. Other data is collected automatically when you visit the website (technical data such as your browser, operating system, and time of visit).
What do we use your data for?
Part of the data is collected to ensure the website functions correctly. Other data may be used to respond to your enquiries or for pre-contractual communication.
What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right to receive information about the origin, recipient, and purpose of your stored personal data free of charge at any time. You also have the right to request correction or deletion of this data. You can contact us at any time about this and other questions on the subject of data protection.

Unless a specific retention period is stated in this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for data processing no longer applies. If you assert a legitimate request for deletion or withdraw your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing it (e.g. tax or commercial law retention periods).
We process personal data on one or more of the following legal bases: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), contract performance or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR), or our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), unless your interests or fundamental rights override them.
This website uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the "https://" prefix in your browser's address bar and the lock icon. When SSL/TLS encryption is active, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
This website does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies for analytics or advertising purposes. The analytics tool used (Umami, see below) operates without cookies and does not track individual users.
The use of contact information published in this Legal Notice (Impressum) for sending unsolicited advertising and promotional materials is hereby expressly prohibited. The website operators reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the sending of unsolicited advertising information, such as via spam emails.
You have the right, within the scope of applicable law, to obtain free information at any time about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of data processing, and where applicable, a right to correction or deletion. You can contact us at any time about this.
You have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data in the following cases: if you dispute the accuracy of your data; if the processing is unlawful but you oppose deletion; if we no longer need the data but you need it to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; or if you have objected to processing and the outcome of that objection is pending.
You have the right to receive data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract, in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, or to request its direct transfer to another controller, to the extent technically feasible.
IF DATA PROCESSING IS BASED ON ART. 6(1)(E) OR (F) GDPR, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA AT ANY TIME FOR REASONS ARISING FROM YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION. IF YOU OBJECT, WE WILL NO LONGER PROCESS THE RELEVANT PERSONAL DATA UNLESS WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING THAT OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS, OR THE PROCESSING SERVES TO ASSERT, EXERCISE, OR DEFEND LEGAL CLAIMS.
If data processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with future effect. The lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal remains unaffected.
In the event of violations of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement. The competent authority for Berlin, Germany is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.
When you submit the contact form on this website, your data (name, email address, optional phone number and company, and message text) is transmitted to Formspree, Inc., USA, which acts as a data processor on our behalf pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. This website uses Umami, a privacy-focused, open-source web analytics tool. Umami is self-hosted on our own infrastructure (Vercel/Neon) and operates without cookies, without fingerprinting, and without collecting personal data. Only anonymous, aggregate data is collected: page views, referrer, browser type, device category, and country (derived from IP address, which is not stored). No personal profiles are created and no data is shared with third parties.
Because no personal data is collected, no legal basis under GDPR is required and no cookie consent is necessary. This processing is entirely privacy-by-design.
